Hi.I purchased this bike for the shimano xtr brakes.I will probably be junking the frame.But what brand of bike is this.Here is a picture of the headtube decal.It is black with splatter orange and a little bit of a gold .A decal that states Tange cromoly 1000.
Any comments and i will try to answer as soon as i can.thanks

Well nothing yet.
Here is a full picture maybe some help.I am thinking it is late 89 or 90.Again i bought it only for the brakes.
I think it is a low end mountain bike ,seeing it is made of tange 1000.

forks look like Judys from 1995 .

and chainset look decent too .

You could be right.The xtr brakes are m950 wich would be 95.The frt derailluer is lx.I tought it would be older because the serial number under the down tube in frt of the bottom bracket is b90011234.

is the head badge stuck on over a rattle can respray? if so it could be anything.

Although similar to Ribble's I dont think it is related. And I find it hard to believe a Ribble mountain bike, a scarce thing...if indeed they made any has made it all the way to the US. (Ribble being a smallish UK builder of racing cycles)
