Anybody done it?

How is the spindle held into the head? Just glue?

Want to swap spindles between a set...

sounds like a pain in the arse to me..

if you're going to do it personally I wouldnt consider them useable afterwards. forces used in assembly cant be easily replicated in the standard garage... so garage queen use only.

there are some pretty f*^%&£ big hammer forces going on in the garage when I get p(&$$^" off with a headset...

Sadly, of no use in getting cam twists back together though which may require more finesse :D
You're right though (hate to say it ;) ), you really don't want your skewers going ping.

not as bad as those goddam common as muck david-icke Yetis! ;)

I wish I'd book marked it now. classic STW moment when someone asked Brant what size seatpost a ti-bred took & he replied 27 or 27.2mm depending on how enthusiastic the reemer had been. I BS you not.
so I'm honestly not saying on-one are sh,te just as banter.

As Manitou916 mentions dead eay to get apart.

Clamp rod and twist lever to unscrew rod for cylinder in centre of lever. Rod is simply loctited into cyclinder and punched on top.
