Reading the classifieds in the March 1993 issue of MBUK (I was trying to get a baby to sleep and couldn't move to get another mag) I noticed the following ad:

"Needed: Girlie companions for rides in Warwick area, 15+ Tel Jez (0926) 4****8"

Is this anyone we know.

How embarressing. Well spotted anyway!

No - no replies but all my riding buddies thought it was a good idea. yeah think we must have been 15/16 or so. When I was riding the Lavadome.

Girls werent interested then. Lanky fluo mountain bikers just werent cool in their eyes...
