Tricycle

Not a retro subject, does anybody know/have a tricycle for sale that would suit a fourteen year old girl who has downs syndrome? a Friend of mine wants to take her out with him when he goes for a ride.
Any ideas or help would be great.

I know it's not what you're after but you can get large tag-alongs that work very well. When I was working in the trade we provided one to a couple in the same situation - you'll also find that there's a better secondhand market for them as well once she grows out of the tag along,

The other alternative is there are engineering companies that specialise in helping specific needs and can make adult sizes stabilisers with full on tyres that don't look crap (important for a 14 year old girl) and mean that she can use a 'normal bike' like all her friends. Can't remember the names at the mo' but I'll have a think....

They also do a trike conversion kit and several trikes, although they costs a bit

Thanks Pete, i'll pass that on to my mate, i like the idea of the stabilisers it would let her have her own bike.
There are always a way somehow, thanks for your help.
