For those who haven't seen them the Klein brochures from 1989 to 1997 are available here http://www.mtb-kataloge.de/html/klein.html . Klein definately had some great colours and I enjoyed this thread seeing the inspiration for the colours.

just found this old thread, amazing the comparison!
really great! was not aware of the comparison until today, just thought these were fancy names for the paint jobs and then for the next 18 years never thought about it again :-)

really cool pics :D ... Its funny that the original poster joined in 2006 and went to the trouble of finding all the pics then posting them... but yet has only made 15 posts on this site... seems a shame as someone with that much thought could have made many more interesting contributions here..
I have thought about the colour scheme names before, but its brilliant to actually see the kind of pics that inspired the schemes.. :)

I spend much time to find and record all the KLEIN colors schemes...
I must admit I haven't eyt finished but... to my point of view, CORAL REEF rules ! :twisted:
