I am planning a pre 1988 UK based build. Any suggestions as to which frame to use other than a raleigh mustang.

I dont need suggestions for the american exotica that was around, but good old UK available bikes.

Anyone any thoughts ?

Evans mountain bike, think one was badged as Saracen for their K2 ad. Muddy Fox explorer/courier etc. Roberts White Spider, Pace RC100 with Xc Pro as per the Ron Kit catalogue, just for starters.

Cheaper end of the scale: Raleigh Mustang, Magnum or similar.

Super Swin has one he may be selling, though I think it's more mid-nineties and also he may be single-speeding it...

Bromwich Cyclone - now there's a challenge.

Or were they American? No, I think they were British.
