Okay then...

As there are (a few) wise heads around here I thought I would ask the question, what yoda-like words of advice could the folk here offer to the budding retrobiker :?:

I could probably think of a few but thought it would be more fun to sit back and see what happens..multiple entries allowed btw ;)

Don't join this forum if you want to have a pension at the end of your working life!

If you cant find something/get something to fit/etc dont lose patience. Somebody somewhere can fix it/has one. Just sit tight.

It's the riding that's important. Don't leave a bike gathering dust for a year because you can't find a green anodised seatpost or a deer head sprodget with a crane cam hyrdolisiser to make it complete.

Oh - and don't buy a bike the wrong size. Ever. It'll never make you smile when you ride it.

Dont give up on finding your dream bike from BITD, it will turn up when your least expecting it.

(and most likely when you cant afford it.)
