Protecting new paint

Has anyone used and maybe recommend the clear vinyl frame protecting tape... How visible is it on the frame ? ... Does it do its job ? Just thinking of using something like this and would appreciate any comments .. thanks.

i have some paint protection film, and once fitted is virtually invisible. let me know what size you need and i'll give you a price. be much cheaper than ebay!
