Is this person living some sort of mirror existence to me? :shock:
Those were my first mtb upgrade. Dreamed of them, saved up, got them in Dec 87 from Kingston Cycles (Evans).
Am about to embark on refurbishing my first mtb too...an 87 MF courier.
Good find on the pedals. Lovely matt finish IIRC.

He had a lovely old Raleigh Burner that he's almost finished restoring, and a couple of fixed-gear racers.
Pointed him in the direction of the site, but you know how these kids always know better
