anyone have any experience, views or advice on this? who built the and from what? what you reckon it's worth, might be able to pick it up for not a lot (£300 was mentioned, not sure as I haven't got the guy on the phone yet)

very nice , well worth £300/£400 just look ay the spec, was one of the last models made by Raliegh special products, before they pulled the plug :D

I've got one of these- ( well in pieces in a box ;-)
Its my second - after my 19stone friend raced it for a while and a crack developed at the wishbone/seat tube weld.

My first was a polished one -these latter ones sometimes have alittle discolouration under the paint - they might be plasm acr welded(?)

They ride very well - if a little short in the top tube - My old one felt better than a cheap Litespeed (IMHO)

Well worth the £300 - just listen for creaks when you unload the pedals!
