So what are the differences between the HS11 & HS33?
Different levers (and piston size) obviosly (although they are interchangable). Are the cylinders the same? What after-market levers/pistons are available for an old set?

Got some HS11's but one lever clamp has broken, but they are the 5-finger type anyway, prefer some 2 finger ones.

someone posted up these the other day, i have been trying to find an excuse to get a pair ever since.

 oh my. I can the bank a/c is going to take a beating

I think the main difference is just build quality

AfaIk it's just the levers, and the piston size, that are different (as you say). The brake (slave) cylinders are the same but usually painted a different colour.

I think these are nicer imo and only 68 grams too! I just don't like that sticky-out adjuster on the others. Unfortunately these seem to be nearly twice the price of the others.

really old HS-11's were less powerful (smaller master cylinder), not all modern HS-33 levers fit the old HS-11's. Dunno about lever compatibility on the new HS-11's.
