That is a nice looking bike 
At a guess I would say 90/91 because of the U brake is it a biopace chainset ? Looks like deroe LX groupset ,It would help with a picture taken of the other side of the bike.
Im also thinking maybe 89 but it looks to have a 1 1/8 headset which would to me say 90/91
I would love to see some more pics of this bike in readers bikes as I really do like the colours and look of this machine

Its a 1990.
Due to Deore LX (Mountain LX in 1989), under bar DX shifters, non lo pro canti on front and 1 1/8" head set.
