i have a titec seat post which the top clamp bit is pressed into the post , it's managed to come loose , can it be fixed ? glue ? liquid metal ? heat ? luck ?

I've fixed an el-cheapo Kalloy post when this sort of thing happened before. All I used was standard Araldite to glue the top back on. So far it's been OK for the last 10 months. (crossed fingers emoticon).

Now, when I go to work tomorrow, I'll probably find that it's broken again.

I've used Araldite 'Precision' two part resin (in the blue tube rather than the red) to rebond the top back onto an old X-Lite ZE-360 seatpost after it came loose and started rotating in the shaft.
Several months later it's still showing no signs of movement.
