do i keep my zaskar polished or put on decals

My old 1990 Zaskar before I put decals on; looked 'unfinished' and cheap:
My 1992 Zaskar LE with a perfect set of period correct gil_m decals; spot on replicas:
PM Gil, he is a member on her, let him know the year of your bike and he will make some up for you. Be patient with him though at the moment as he is organising this year Single Speed Champs so is mega busy.

O and do i need to protect it with a lacquer afterwords???? thanks again.
