May i suggest Lock-tite, you'll have no problems sticking it down, you can get it in liquid form or 'prit stick' version.

Another one for 'Evo-Stick Impact' contact adhesive. I've just reskinned a saddle today using the stuff as suggested by a few forum members.
Rather impressed with the results too.
You'll only need a small tube which should cost less than a couple of quid.

Evo-Stick contact adhesive will stick just about anything onto anything and do a damn good job of it.
They do it in huge red tins which last forever as well..
I've used it to stick a huge gash in a saddle back together, and stuck a 1.5inch thick wooden door back together with it as well (someone kicked through a panel)...
Top stuff.
