Ha! Oh come on guys, forget it. The look on my dad's eyes when he sees the Kona after all these years will be worth ten bikes of the month.

BWT, those Kona tires to which Bordecollie refers sucked. I still have the velocity stem, but then, stock Konas were boring, ugly, and very uncool. The headset on there now had the allen key adjustment locknut, but I cut the F*in steerer tube too short to put it on.

Truelucky - let me at your 92 Specialized, then we'll have a true BOTM.

Don't worry Felix, I'll not send you your stickers if you don't want them

This months contest is beginning to remind me of the '93 Grand National.

From the jist of it.........

....they are faulting the technical choices of the compontry of each bike on BOM?

The Boulder "should have won" apparantly no? But it did?

Babelfish is a little woolly to say the least but it sounds like a jealousy thread where the majority have lost the point of BOM entirely.

Hi John,

who said I would not have the stickers?! We had just discussed the contest ...

By the way ... be careful with automatic translation programs. Our sense of humour and our "berlinish accent" as well can not be translated automatically in english. It's a "typical german garden dwarf mentality".

Greetings from Berlin,
Andreas
