SUNN Model I.D?

Sorry, no pictures

I was riding in Malta this week and met a guy riding a nickel plated steel SUNN, it had pretty much full XT M737/9. Any idea what model it was? I don't think it had a canti bridge and had a couple of nice details like a little stud on the drive-side seat stay for hanging the chain when the back wheel is off.

when you mean nickel plated you mean looking like matt chromium ?

then it probably is an X-Circuit 1998 in Tange DB

But is it was generally with XT mechs but Gripshift and V brakes were Avids . :?:

Nice sturdy bike ( same frame as the 5000) and decently light.
( a 5000 of 1996 in size 40 with XT stuff is 10.6KG)

The chromium ages much better than paint

I have got 8 Sunns with chromed frames for the whole family ( me, missus and two boys) at home and in the country.
