On my way over to the computer shop to pick up my fried laptop, I saw this:

Looks like a late 80s Jamis Cross Country. Its mint! I talked to lady inside and she says its been abandoned for weeks, and the cops should be coming by to pick it up any day. Bummer.

I like that in a wierd way...

Can't you get in touch with the cops and leave yer details offering to give thrity quid to charity or something if they don't have a claimant within a month or so? They'll only flog/chuck it otherwise or give it to somekind of community-worthy cause...

Maybe...

I love the way that in America you can abandon a bike for weeks and it doesn't turn into a pile of rust.

Just help yourself! Elcheapo lock'll take all of 2 seconds with a pair of bolt croppers... :twisted: Give some money to charidee & save the police the effort of picking it up :)
