Has anyone ever seen a pair of these in the flesh?

They're not stupidly heavy, and thought they might be alright for a play with.
As I'm sure you'll realise, suspension forks are a whole subsection of cycling I don't know anything about.

they used to be similar to tange/sr etc forks that used to come std on low to mid end saracens in the 90s.i had some on an andes fs,worked fine, never be as good as judys etc but if your on a budget could be good, why not stick with rigid tho, youve a good 10" of travel there 1st ;)

Rigid it is. I've only ever had one bike with suspension forks, and one that I swapped to rigid after about a week - why break the habit of a lifetime?
I only liked them because they were threaded and would have looked ok with the gold Hammerite paint job.
