monocoque for me, nice neat smooth lines 
tig for sure, on steel.
I like a really small neat weld, that is almost a nice butt joint. Some of the handbuilt Hots/Rocky's/Fats/Ifs etc. Nice. No photos to hand, but will hunt about. Nowhere to hide with this technique!!
Ali fillets just too big and ugly
Brazed is too easy to bodge and file
Lugged not bad, certain neatness
Monocoques don't float my boat - though works with carbon road bikes

yep fillet for me i had a custom fillet brazed bike built by dave hinde yes i know a lot of persons don,t like him but he is one of the nices blokes i have ever met. as for the frame 2.8 lbs nemo fillet brazed lovlieness
