Ok guys, just curious as to what tickles your fancy. Given the diversity of our retro rides, what construction method do you fancy for your frame and why?

Once decided, what do you feel is the best example of that work? Got a pic, please share.

cheers,

rody

monocoque for me, nice neat smooth lines ;)

tig for sure, on steel.

I like a really small neat weld, that is almost a nice butt joint. Some of the handbuilt Hots/Rocky's/Fats/Ifs etc. Nice. No photos to hand, but will hunt about. Nowhere to hide with this technique!!

Ali fillets just too big and ugly :(
Brazed is too easy to bodge and file
Lugged not bad, certain neatness
Monocoques don't float my boat - though works with carbon road bikes ;)
