AMP D1 discs

Hi,

I got my AMP from Omar71 about 10 days ago and quickly built it up in a temporary fashion to take away on our family holiday to Cornwall.

I am not all that happy with the performance of the front D1 disc, back is fine so I'm sure I can sort it with a change of pad compound, so........can any one tell me if the pads are the same as anything else or do I have to go to AMP ?

Cheers

Barry

Each brake caliper type takes different pad styles.

AMP pads are available here

The Green ones get good reviews for stopping power.

Thanks very much,

The green ones appear to be what is there already with gold at the rear. I think I'll go for Gold and see what happens.

Quite shocked at the price tho' thats half as much again what I pay for M/C pads. I guess that there are a lot more Brembo calipers around than AMP ones though :?

Cheer again,

Barry

Yep, I've recently had dealings with Brion La Belle at Amp.

He's a fantastically helpful chap and was more than happy to help out providing bits I needed for a 15 year old set of forks.

I'd send them an email - PM me if you want his email address, as I don't want to post it on the forum for obvious spamming reasons...
