If you're on this site you're probably a fan of your retro kit. But do you actually use and ride it? Or is it strictly for looking at.

Bit of a wild thought - disc mounts on a retro steely. Is this a no no, or great cos you use a classic bike more??

I refer you to Nick 32-16s Dave Yates

If you fancy disk mounts on your old steel frame go for it! I'd make sure the frame was something fairly 'workman like', not a Fat 10th for example :D
Some of the late Yo Eddys came with disk mounts.

Why do you need disc on a steel frame .

Disc breaks are usefull for freeride or downhill , for Xc no interest
