Got what i think is a 96 Animal with carbon swingarm, anyone on here now how much travel these had?

They had around 3 inches of travel

Animals did not have carbon swingarms in 96.
Would love to see it if it is a 96.

is it one of these ones, these are the only Animals I am aware of I think and none had carbon? The only carbons were the x57's and 956LE - though Shovelon might correct me.

Well if it is the middle one it is a 97 animal. Along with the 957, it was the top of the line Proflex. I wanted one real bad back then, or the 957, but could only afford the Beast, which too was a great bike.

Aluminum swingwarm with about 3.5 inches travel from the Nr4 shock.

I fitted an 857 carbon swingarm to my old Beast (which used to have alloy swingarm like that). Fitted perfectly
