i wouldnt say sandblast , media blast is a better term as there is a range of different blast " medias " available so its not as harsh as sand
id be surprised if there isnt a suitable blaster in your area
make sure there is no trace of grease/lube or anything sticky . it can clog the equipment and the guy will shout at you
make sure he thoroughly blows through all the tubes with an airline after

I used Hendersons in piershill in edinburgh bud, look them up, they did my 'dale for me about 15 years ago .
