ok got a set of rock shox which had a slightly dodgy thread on one
v brake mount but i decided to go with it and fit brakes. well i used the
brakes i guess one to many times and it pulled the boss out now
obviously the hole in the forks is now bigger than the v brake boss
ive tried chemical metal but as soon as the spring has tension the
boss gives in and spins. is helicoil the only option (other than disc
brakes of coarse but that involves changing wheels and brakes and
becomes expensive)
