GT seattube sizes

Did GT ever have an alloy frame with a 27.0mm seattube? Putting together an unknown frame and I thought it was 27.2 but only going so far(not very) and sticking. Cleaned and cleared but no joy. Is it possible its a 27.0?

my 96, karakoram is 27.0 (i know steel framed), and usa built RTS is 27.0mm, so a mid nineties one could very well be, 1997 Zaskar is 27.2mm

RTS seat post sizes

I've got three, 2 USA built and an RTS2 which was not made in the USA, and they all seem to be 26.8 I think.

They used 27.0 seat post on a number of alloy frames and steel also. Early Avalanches and Team Avalanches in steel took 27.0 a couple years the Zaskars took 27.0 as well.

My 97 Zaskar is a 27.0mm

My Old 95 Zaskar le was 26.8.

Cheers guys, definitely not a zaskar( I wish) just a piece of junk I question whether its worth the bother over :? I'll try the 27.0 first and go from there, the 27.2 is going in so I can't be far away.
