Seat post shims

Cannot find the right size shim for a seatpost 26.4 - 30.0mm, but can find two shims 26.4 - 27.2mm & 27.2 - 30.0mm that will do the job. Would you do it?

Sounds fine to me. They are only packing after all!
You could do it with carefully flattened beer can.

26.4-30.0 those are some thickness of walls, on the beer cans you get

I'd be very leery of using two shims together. Just get a 27.2 post and use the one shim. Even better would be to use a 30.0 post and not use shims at all.

I'm loooking for 26.4 post. If its gloss black with layback and you want to sell let me know. Personally 2 shims sounds like a bodge and you'll be forever readjusting post as it will slip down.

Decided against doing this, the post was too short anyway. If anyone has a Kore silver post 30.0mm or 27.2mm & 400mm long I would be interested.
