is this retro?

How old do parts need to be before they are considered retro? As you might be able to see, my XC1 has a blend of old and newer parts, so would it count as retro or not? It's only 7 speed but has disc brakes, and it's probably the most modern of my bikes!

The green bar ends and grips might be old but ....arrggh my eyes!

Er... yes, my whole office is retro (with the exception of the computer equipment)!

As to 'Good taste never goes out of fashion... less is more' I'm not sure how that's applying to my bike? Less green, you mean...? :? The grips and bar ends are NOT fluoro green, they just look, erm.. .quite bright!

I'm jealous of the green anodised bits, wish I'd of gone and got some green hope stuff for my bike before they stopped doing. Doh!!!
