retro kit at the races!!!

helloooo chaps......just got back from a day at the bmbs round 1 at clipstone,notts.......great to see plenty of retro kit being used for racing......some lovely pace rc100s and a couple of oranges,an aluminium elite and a particularly nice clockworck....perfect for counting down the laps as it passed as you couldnt miss it amongst the other boringly dull looking carbon offerings!!!

are you sure they were rc100s ?

the clockwork was the limited edition one and i saw the elite as well as some old pace forks and one guy on the rc31s

one guy on a singlespeed pipedream

countless carbon bikes ive never heard of

a few creaky cranks

a couple guys without seats

im sure i saw a white frame with skinwall tyres

a few topple over in corners

and lots of spitting and throwing of bottles into bushs

oh and nearly forgot many people insisting on crossing the track just before people race by :roll:

ha,my better half and i smiled at some of the creaks and squeaks from some bikes!!.....i saw two rc100s,one with magura hydraulic brakes....v nice......i also came home two discarded bottles up too....bonus!!great day,cracking weather!!

only maguras i saw were on a black frame . i wasnt there all day though and i did have some sneaky looks at others girlfriends
