Does this fork look to long for this frame, frame is 1996 rockhopper, fork is 100mm suntour XCM?
ANd should i leave it bare alu or polished?

Hi mate
In my opinion these will upset the handling as they are much longer than the originals, which for a 96 RH would have been rockshox quadra 5's. They would have had around 65mm travel.
Up to you though if it feels alright.
I would polish it as the alu will tarnish quickly.

I am planning to swap to rigid forks, but recently upgrade my modern bikes forks so had those spare
