Gear Set Up / Slipping Chain

I have just set my gears up on my bike, front and rear mech from scratch and new chain and cassette and everything is changing as it should be but i have a big issue when im in the middle chain ring at the front. If i apply a certain amount of force when cycling along the chain jumps down on the bottom ring but from the bottom and not the top of the front middle ring what can be causing this anyone got any ideas ?

I had this trouble on my Bontrager. Mine was solved with a new chain and cables which doesn't really help you. Are you a big ring pusher or, like me tend to stay in the middle ring most of the time? Have a close look at the ring teeth profile to check for wear. Take it off and lay it on a very flat surface to make sure it hasn't taken a hit. Maybe the old worn chain had a enough 'give' in it to mask the problem.
