Middleburn RS3 - 4 small allen bolts attach spider

Middleburn RS7 - lockring holds spider

Is this correct?
 
AfaIr that's correct. They also used locktite on them as well so even when you undo the fixing it may still be difficult to remove the spider.

And once you've put loctite on them, it's permanent. The bolt heads will round off before you get them undone.
