I just bought a Dave Yates Diabolo (see Reader's bikes under that heading for early photos) and had been under the impression that they were P2's fitted to it as apparently the Diabolo's came with them as standard. The paint job matches the paint on the rest of the bike, they look like P2's but when I took them off, in the drop-out it was stamped 'Spinner-Ji'.

Have I got P2's or are they imposters?!

Aren't Spinner the manufacturers of the dropouts...? I have a set of genuine P2s and the dropouts are stamped "Spinner-Ji"

Cool. They'll be up for sale soon then. Not going back to rigid I'm afraid. Tried it at the weekend and my shoulders hurt too much! :?

Yes long steerer (can measure for you tonight when I get home if you like) and yes 1" - they're yours if you want - how much will you part with? I'll do postage at cost however you want it (1st clas/2nd class etc).

Seriously, don't sell them - they belong with that bike.
