Mourning a lost Saracen.

Hi, I found here whilst reminiscing about my beautiful metallic black powder coated 1993 Saracen Traverse Elite, which I stupidly left in the care of my ex wife, she subsequently sold it out of spite. I had the bike up until four years ago, and it was in tip top condition and standard, it had served me well over mountain tops and mud. Anyway, I am here, because I have felt the need to start biking again after a four year abscence, and it seems a so called retro bike is the way I must go, because I am just lost with what there is available now. My biking style, is cross country, I am over the silly stuff, been there with that, broke me, not the Saracen and I don't heal as well as I used too.

Welcome. ;)

Check out ebay, there's a guy sells bankrupt stock Saracen frames & forks from the early to mid nineties for pocket money prices.
