just finished building up my RTS.... (pics will be on in readers bikes tomorrow) and took it for a bit of a spin on the street to check it out etc..

any my god does the shock top out hard...!!

do all RTS's do this or is it just the 16 year old noleen shock being a bit knackered!?

ive got an RST unit im going to try tomorrow and see if thats any better and will probably end up getting a risse unit in a couple of months anyway.. but just wondering if its something they all do regardless of shock?

Has yous got a rebound (?) dial on the piggyback?

Could be worth winding a bit back of the pre load to start with :?

Pickle's your man though for RTS queries ;)

There shouldnt be any top out clunk, so yes this is a good starting point.

Otherwise, its sounds like the shock is knackered.

Noleen top out

Hi, I've never had mine top out, have you tried adding preload to the spring (winding it one way, can't remember which way though). You could also try getting a heftier spring, but not sure where you would get one from these days.
