Crank arm length?

Stupid question i know but does the length effect the ride? the cranks i had were 175mm but have seen some lovely NOS 170mm ones!

What to do? would i tell the difference?

maybe.. less torque generally. not as noticeable if you spin rather than grind.
if you're taller than 5ft 7in stick with 175mm.. go to 180mm if over 6ft 2.
