What cranks?

Suggestions please for my Hei Hei build.

I'd like something light and retro or retroish. I've gone with M950 for the remainder of the groupset but M950 cranks are so damned expensive :shock:
I do have a kind forum member who has offered me some but because of the £ fiasco it makes them as expensive as some of these:

I love my bulleyes - Haven't ridden anything else since getting them in '92 they come up at reasonable prices occasionally and there are a few fixes to make them work with modern bearings - I use shims and hope hollowtech bearings.

There are a couple of M950 cranksets on eBay at the moment I think. Madison has a ready supply of the bottom brackets for them (which take ages to wear out anyway) and when it comes to change the rings, you can get either the Shimano 5-arm 110bcd spider, or the Middleburn 4-arm 104bcd spider so that you can run sensible rings which aren't made out of chocolate. The cranksets don't seem to go for that much really... do they?
