Retro Newbie
can anyone please suggest some old school style tyres for me. size 26" about 175 width. id like some like the old school bmx ones with white wall sides, any advice please.
 
Hi, and welcome to the site.

I dont know about white wall, but Ritchey do their red and black coloured Megabite Z-Max with skinwall in 1.75 flavour. I used to race with them BITD :cool:

I think member jez-4-bikes-max has some for sale at the moment.

I have a pair of those 1.7 Ritchey Z Max WCS on my Dyna Tech right now!

They are super light [400g] and great in the current muddy wet conditions too.

In fact I remember that Sinnett said that Ade Timmis used to also run 1.7's

It seems that skinny tyres were the order of the day BITD.

Here is my old DBR Response Elite fitted with 1.75 Zmax's. This must have been from 1995 :shock:
