... although the touch up paint does imake the the look rather reminiscent of Marin frames when they were going through the sketchy Marin Lite
However if it stops it rustin away it's surely worthwhile.
What was the repair to the seat area?
I'm not sure the badly matched touch up looks so good, it is kind of Marin-Lite
. I would've coated it in black hammerite but quite like the decals.
The seat tube started to crack perpendicular to the base of the slot. I guess it was something to do with years a USE with a short shim and a lot of post showing.
