Singlespeed Chainring Advice

I don't see any reason why not. I know lots of people say to use SS specific rings, but the others work fine.

If you have a slightly dodgy chainline then the shorter teeth of the slickshift ones won't work in your favour.

My SS is a 'toolbox special' bitsa with a typical middle ring off a triple and I've unshipped the chain only once in 250 miles - and the chainline is a bit off too.

You'll be fine to use the Middleburn, as above just try to get the chainline as good as you can.

For me the only time to go for an unramped ring is when you have to buy a ring anyway.
