I need to service my 1994 Mag21's (bugger)as there is a clicking in the lower left leg, so either something has snapped like a circlip. or they or something is just catching. They still work fine though :?

Been a long time since I did this and I think it was mag20's I last pulled apart, anyways I did it with no specialist tools then.
I think it went like this
take dust seal, let air out, remove air caps
Remove cir-clips
Ram legs from stantion apart by grabbing each end on pushing in, ramming apart, repeat until apart.

Now these thing never seem to come up in good working condition and bushings seem even harder to come by (mind I've never really looked)

So would like to know any better ways or an easy way to make the puller
I have plenty of manuals including the one that came with it.

It looks (seal puller in picture) and from the description like it is two parts threaded together and you push the legs off by unscrewing one part.

No rush for me to do this (see below) but something I can get ready for and get any tools made that I need.

I have Judy's (1995 XC) going on at the moment but they are too long really and I don't know how to drop them from ~60mm to ~50mm (wing springs fitted) I've read the instructions in my gallery2 and the original ones, but have no idea how this relates to wings springs. These are after my time ;)
