Does anyone have a photo of the Ritchey frame with the extended seat tube? I seem to remember a magazine interview(probably MBUK) with Tom and he was riding this said beast. Yet again way ahead of his time

I've got that mag feature, but no way to scan it, sorry!
henrik used that design in several of his winning world champs.

interestingly given the scott/ frischnect/ scott connection scott are now produciing an extended seatube/ integral seatpost design. I belief ti cycles in seattle have also produced a few (imagine it in ti :D )

okay all i've managed to find sofar is mtb pro no17 january 95
"morning mr ritchey" chipps meets tom ritchey in a log cabin in the san
frisco hills. not much pics of the bike stickered "P23" btw
this is not the article i was thinking about, but sister mag mbuk probably
had a version of the same article (remember a pic of the bike against a blue skyline) so jan/feb 95 mbuk needed
about 3 more monitor boxes full of mtb mags to rake thru.
will try to scan this article if i can find the scanner!
mike

not a ritchey but it has an extended top tube . Right: this is the most exotic Italian bike producer He makes steel ti and ti-carbon hardtails and softails. "Paduano" is the name of the factory. As you see they even have a strange stem-handlebar combo which clamps quite mysteriously on the fork steerer tube, similarly to the old Pace stems
