For my 'virtual 1 bike' vote I am struggling to decide between my Zaskar LE and my RTS......and I think my Zaskar gets the vote purely because it is such and all rounder. Ok, it'll never go downhill as well as a full-sus, but for the riding I mainly do its the best of the bunch.

(ps: your choice doesnt have to be from your stable

Its not really possible but an interesting exercise.

Ridding all the others i could lash on one great bike

like a Charge Blender TI or modern/classic custom type thing

But you want retro don't ya?

Although I am yet to own one, I imagine that it would be a modern steel hardtail. Say a Cotic Soul or a Cove handjob with 100mm forks up front.
