Hi All,

The Dyna-Tech restoration is now nearly complete! I will post some pics soon, I promise.

I have a problem with the M730 XT chainset. I have sourced new Midleburn outer [48t] and middle [36t] rings. I have noticed that the inner ring [Shimano 24t] requires some spacers and longer chainring bolts in order to clear the middle ring. Not sure where to source from or how deep the spacer should be.

Pls can anyone point me in the right direction?

I know these ratios are a bit 'on the limit' but should be ok from what I ahve read in some old MBUK mags.

Thanks...

Chaser.

I think the spacers would be approx. 6mm deep but this is based on info lying dormant in the dustier recesses of my mind. As for where to get the longer bolts, it is probably the sort of weird-ery that SJS might have.

CRC do long bolts.

though when i needed long bolts for my curves, i nicked a set from some battered m730's i had

i think i still have the m730 spacers - pm me your address and i'll wang them in the post if i have them
