er, well, I've got one just like it; but i don't know much about it!
1991-ish mid-range as far as I can tell. Nothing too special and no lightweight, but I'm very pleased with the way it rides even though the BB is knackered.
Get it cheap (I did), and you won't be disappointed. If there's anything specific you need to know, I'll have a look at mine if it'll help.

My Sahara was Saracens base model in 1993. Despite this it has an excellent hand built frame and rides brilliantly. I upgraded mine to full Xt and various other bits but this was out of necessity as most of the drivetrain was knacked when i rescued it from a mates back garden. Hope you win it you wont be disappointed.
