Difference between a Merlin Oreas and a Merlin xlm works?

depends on the year, as the most recent xlm frames are made with 3/2.5 titanium, as were the oreas frames. oreas frames(3/2.5ti) were made until 2005, along side the xlm(6/4ti). then for 2006 there was only the xlm which for the first half of the year was 6/4 and at £1900, then after about july 2006 they changed to 3/2.5 to keep the cost down....to £1900. then for 08 they started making two frames, the works in 3/2.5 and the works xlm in 6/4, but im sorry but i dont know how much these new ones are.
when i was looking at buying my oreas in 06, i knew i wanted a 3/2.5 frame because although they are a few grams heavier, i knew i would be less likely to dent it. the dropouts are the giveaway, the xlm ones are longer and have holes cut in them. hope this helps, unless you have more more specific question?
