why have drops on an MTB? I ask this as a genuine question.... what advantage does it bring offroad? I can understand touring with one, fair enough, like the Marin above, but offroad??

I have to say i am with Chris on this, i just cant get my head around drops on MTBs, there is just something i dont like about them. I do think ignoring them the bikes are nice!!
