Chas Roberts / Ashton Martin DB?

Just been reading an article about the 'coolness' (i.e. ££££££s!) of Ashton Martin motor cars in a Sunday newspaper...this reminded me of the Ltd. edition Chas Roberts / Ashton Martin DOGS BOLX frameset. i.e. Chas Roberts made it & Ashton Martin painted it (burgandy).

There was a feature in a old mid 90s MBi about it.

Has anyone every actually seen one? How many were made?

i remember them but have never seen one. i suspect they were bought by aston owners and seldom used.

oh dear!...that's as amusing as anything I've just heard on have i got news for you!

a friend of mine was out riding a regular chas roberst dogs bolx many years ago...as we passed by a jolly rambler he exclaimed: 'i like that bike...it's got my name on it' ...we found this quite amusing at the time as the word Roberts was mostly obscured by mud.

i think the paint was the only aston martin influence?
