Been stripping down a recent full build I purchased to clean up and put my own bits on. Usually when I do this its a case of repeatedly 'oh, never mind, thats shagged' type of things as stuff comes off.

But once in a while, that vague ebayscription pays off.

Off come the RSRs, no cracks. Nice.
Hello. Whats that BB? WI ti! Nice and smooth as. Bonus one.

Thought the headset was a generic black affair, so picked up an XTR to pop on. Stem off, undo top cap of h'set and see sealed bearings. Not common for a 1" threaded. Actually, thoso cups look pretty rounded. Kind of King-ish... close inspection on top nut and voila! Early king no logo. Bonus two.

Times like this make me smile and make up for some of the utter shite I have ended up with on previous buys.

Happy days :) All evens out in the end.

Quality... last one of those moments I had, I discovered an XTR rear mech with drilled jockey wheels, and pace rings...

I had a dog and his name was.... BINGO!
