Why do we do it?

Last night, I brought some Manitou forks....because they look nice

I dont need them, and didnt even know what bike they would be for, but I brought them.

This is not the first time I have done an impulse buy (see 1992 Pro-Flex 852), and I'm sure it wont be the last........help!

Damn it, I need lights not forks!

I suffer from a similar disfunction - bought a Tequesta, didnt need it, didnt want it, but, I now own it, repaired it and its for sale at approx £17 less than I spent making it nice....

I know, I'll blame it on the kids ;)

They are showing a strong interest in MTBing, and my daughter is having her first 'proper' MTB built as we speak.

So, in a way, I am ensuring they have a decent inheritance to look forward to

"But it looked nice" is how I ended up with my wife....

:D

I have almost all my parts bought with the same disfunctional brainwaves.
Now having loads of stuff, don't want to sell it, because it looks nice.

"it looks nice" but my landlord is starting to question why he cant park his car in the garage anymore
